Choosing an extra bike helmet visor: ICE or ClearView?

Which extra visor fits your Pro Sport Lights bike helmet? Choose the helmet model first, then the version. ClearView visors fit ClearView only. For ICE, order ICE visors. Both helmets already come with a clear visor and a dark sun visor, so an extra visor is an addition or replacement.

ICE and ClearView have different visor systems

A similar colour or shape does not mean a visor fits both helmets. The mount is different. Check the model name in your order or on the product page before choosing a part. Use the helmet name, not just its colour or size.

Not sure which model you have? Send a photo of the helmet and mount to info@prosportlights.com. Have the correct part checked before ordering.

Clear, dark or another visor colour?

A clear visor is the logical choice in low light. The dark sun visor reduces incoming light in bright daylight. Always choose a visor that gives you sufficient visibility for your ride. A dark visor that feels comfortable during the day may be less suitable at dusk.

The ClearView range includes clear, black, pink, yellow, orange, rose gold and purple. Choose an extra colour if you want a different look for your helmet. A colour name alone does not establish a specific light transmission level, UV protection or anti-fog performance. See the description of your chosen version for its stated features.

These extra visors are for ClearView. ICE has its own visor range.

See current versions and availability for ClearView visors or ICE visors. This helps you order from the correct product range.

How do you change the ClearView visor?

ClearView uses rotary knobs on both sides of the helmet. You do not need a key. Follow this model’s instructions, do not overtighten the mounting knobs and do not pull on the visor when removing or fitting it. After fitting, check that the mount is secure and the visor moves normally.

An ICE video using a tool describes a different system. Do you have ClearView and a stuck knob? Do not force anything, and contact us before continuing.

How do you change the ICE visor?

For ICE, use the included tool and watch the ICE visor video guide. This video is for ICE, not ClearView. Only begin once you are sure which model and mount you have. Do not pull on the visor while a mounting point is still secured.

The visor instruction guide helps you find the right explanation. Always check the model name before following a video.

Frequently asked questions before ordering a visor

Do I need to buy a clear visor separately with my new helmet?

No. Both ClearView and ICE come with a clear visor and a dark sun visor. A third visor is optional.

Can a ClearView visor fit my ICE helmet?

No. ClearView visors fit ClearView exclusively. Order an ICE visor for ICE; the different mounts are not interchangeable.

Do I need a key for ClearView?

No. ClearView has rotary knobs. Do not confuse the ICE tool and ICE video with the instructions for ClearView.

Do both helmets include ear warmers?

ICE comes with ear warmers as standard; ClearView does not. You can order a Winter Kit separately for ClearView. This is separate from the two included visors.
