Which ClearView helmet size do you need?

Finding the right size starts with your head circumference. Measure horizontally above your eyebrows and compare the result with the ClearView size ranges: Medium 50–57 cm or Large 54–61 cm.

The ranges overlap. At 55 cm, for example, both sizes may be an option, but your head shape and the actual fit determine which feels right. A helmet should fit securely without pressure points. Do not automatically choose Large simply because it offers more room.

Do not assume you need the same size as your previous helmet: sizing can vary between models. Unsure? Email your head circumference and the model you are considering to info@prosportlights.com, and we will help you choose.

Why are two visors included?

Lighting conditions change from one ride to the next. That is why ClearView comes with both a clear visor and a dark sun visor. The clear visor is the natural choice in low light. The dark sun visor darkens your view and is intended for bright daylight. Always choose the visor that allows you to see your surroundings clearly.

You do not need to order these two visors separately. An extra coloured visor is an optional addition if you want a different look or need a replacement.

How do you change the ClearView visor?

On ClearView, use the knobs on both sides; no tools are needed. Follow this model's instructions, avoid overtightening the fastenings and do not pull on the visor. If a part is stuck, do not force it; contact us instead. Instructions for another helmet model are not automatically suitable for ClearView.

Can you wear ClearView with glasses?

A cycling helmet with a visor may be a useful option if you want to wear your own glasses while cycling. Whether your frames fit under the ClearView visor depends on their shape and the fit. We therefore cannot guarantee that every pair of glasses will fit.

Try the helmet on with your own glasses and lower the visor. Check that there is enough clearance around the frames, that the temples are not pinched and that the visor does not press on your glasses. Check again after adjusting the helmet.

Front and rear LED lights: how do they work?

ClearView has a white front LED with steady light and a red rear LED with four modes: steady, fade, slow flashing and fast flashing. The lights charge via USB-C. The stated charging time is approximately 2.5 hours; battery life is up to approximately 6 hours and depends on the selected light mode.

Check the lights before setting off and plan charging around your rides. The lights on your helmet provide additional visibility. For your bike, explore our cycling lights too.
