Choosing a ClearView visor: colour and compatibility
PublishedThe short answer: Choose a visor that is explicitly compatible with your helmet model. Colour alone tells you nothing about compatibility. Clear and dark visors also suit different light conditions.
Not every visor fits every helmet
Compare the product name and mounting with your own helmet. ClearView visors are intended exclusively for the ClearView model. Other Pro Sport Lights helmets may use a different mounting. Ask for advice if you are unsure of the model name.
Clear or dark visor?
In low light, a clear visor is the logical choice. A sun visor reduces incoming light in bright daylight. Always choose a version that gives you sufficient visibility. A coloured appearance alone does not prove a particular protection class or UV specification.

The range may change. You can find the current options on the ClearView visor product page. The ClearView helmet already includes a clear visor and a dark sun visor; an extra colour is optional.
