TÜV Rheinland helmet testing: understanding the reported result

The short answer: In an earlier article, we reported a PASS result for selected mechanical tests under EN 1078 on a Pro Sport Lights helmet. This is not a general statement about every helmet or every standard.
Why the scope of a test matters
A test result relates to a specific model, the tests performed and the associated report. The term PASS must therefore be read in that context. Selected mechanical tests are not the same as a declaration that all models meet every part of a standard.
